Read Off Your Fines @ JCPL

Here’s how it works:Reading must be done in the library.Fines will be forgiven on overdue items only, not on lost items.Each 15 minutes of reading forgives $1.50.Reading must be completed in 15 minute increments.Maximum Read Off Your Fines time is 2 hours per day.An adult, parent or caregiver may read to a pre-reading child.Available for all ages.To sign in, stop by the Ask a Librarian Desk.

Watercolor Painting Workshop: Part 2 @ JCPL at Meeting Room 5/6

Painting watercolors can be challenging, but exciting!  Through demonstrations and individual attention, Local artist Peggy Bishop will cover the basics of watercolor including color mixing, value, and composition.  Beginner to intermediate students are welcome. Registration is required. This is the second of a two part series. If you registered for part one, you are automatically registered for part two. No new registrations will be taken for part two.

All Around the World: Art and Culture @ JCPL at Meeting Room 5/6

world without leaving your classroom as the Living Arts and Science Center brings sights, smells, and
sounds of the world to your library!  Enjoy hands-on show and tell items
from across the globe, create an art and culture map of your own, and hear
music and stories from various regions!  From artifacts to art activities,
this program is sure to take you on an unforgettable cultural
voyage!   Register to attend. 

Jessamine Movie Spectacular: Coco @ OFF SITE at Behind Courthouse in Nicholasville

Come on out for family fun!  This FREE community event features inflatables, face painting, hot dogs and much more. There will also be a big-screen showing of Coco!  Don’t forget to bring a camping chair or picnic blanket. 

This evening is sponsored by First Southern National Bank, Jessamine County Public Library, Kentucky One Health Saint Joseph Jessamine, and Parks and Recreation.

Activities begin at 7:30PM and the movie starts at dusk.
