Civic Lab

Civic Lab at JCPL logoThe Civic Lab at JCPL offers information, activities, and discussion on issues facing our community.

We’ll feature different topics each month. Download the information packets and activities below, or stop by the display in the main library. For each activity you submit, you’ll be entered to win a $75.00 Amazon gift card.

We also invite you to join our monthly article discussion group, where you can engage in friendly conversation with other community members.

Fake News and Media Bias

For September, we’ll explore fake news and media bias. What is fake news? How do you spot it? How do you decide what news sources to trust?
