Dinosaur Party

November 9, 2016 @ 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
JCPL at Meeting Room 1/2/3/4/5/6

JCPL’s Dinosaur Party will feature a performance of The Dinosaur Diary of Dr. T-Rex.  This show is an exciting educational experience that uses hilarious comedy, incredible life-size puppets, museum quality fossils, a multitude of dinosaur facts, audience participation, and a little bit of magic to encourage students to continue exploring the world of the dinosaurs through reading and writing.

A thrilling prehistoric encounter becomes a moment of awe and understanding when Dr. T-Rex is interrupted by the appearance of a fully-animated juvenile Iguanodon complete with sound effects.  Students are given a chance to touch his blunt, leaf-shaped teeth that are similar to the modern day iguana, which helps them understand the origins of Iguanodon’s name.

Children ages 3 years and up will receive a dinosaur excavation kit to take home (while supplies last).

This program is open to all ages and no registration is required.
