JCPL at Meeting Room 5/6

Successfully navigating social interactions can be a
struggle for teens, especially for those identifying as LGBT+, as they encounter many stressors in school and in life. October is LGBT History Month, join us for an educational session in partnership with the Nest of Lexington where
we will learn about:

How teens foster healthy connections with friendsDifferent ways teens have addressed the coming
out processHow to recognize signs of both positive and
negative relationships

The Nest is a nonprofit organization which provides education for
families, seeks to reduce rates of domestic violence, and offers resources to
women, children, and families in crisis. While information at this program
focuses primarily on the needs of LGBT+ teens, everyone will learn about fostering a healthy social life.

No registration is required.
