Developing and maintaining healthy habits is challenging. The JCPL Healthy Life Club is here to provide extra support, information and incentive to help you live longer, stronger, and happier. At each session, we will focus on a different health topic. The first 30 minutes will be an informational presentation. Our speakers will be experts from the community, including librarians, fitness trainers, physical therapists, health department officials, and medical professionals. The next 30 minutes will be time for group movement and exercise. The last 30 minutes will be for sharing ideas, regimes, recipes and stories.At each meeting, we will provide every group member with a Healthy Life Club Challenge packet. This packet will include a variety of activities you can do throughout the month before the next meeting. You can track all the activities you complete and record them in the packet. At the end of a 6 month period, we’ll tally the points in all of your packets and give every finisher an incentive according to the number of points earned. Healthy Life Club Challenge packets are only available to those who attend the monthly meetings! This program is open to adults and teens. Please register.
