Ziggy Liloia will teach us all about natural building materials and techniques and how you can create a low cost, energy-efficient, and eco-friendly home using local, natural materials. He’ll cover straw bale building, cob, timber framing, and more. Ziggy lives at South Slope Farm, a 28 acre homestead in Rockcastle County, just south of Berea. Ziggy has 10 years of natural building experience, including building a straw bale home from the ground up. He organizes and teaches a variety of natural building methods in hands-on workshops at South Slope Farm. Visit Ziggy’s website, The Year of Mud.
