Rain Gardens

April 4, 2017 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
JCPL at Meeting Room 5/6

Join Kara Sayles, Environmental Educator for Bluegrass Greensource, for an introduction to rain gardens. Rain gardens are an excellent and proven way to limit run off from entering our storm sewers and streams. In addition to helping reduce non point source pollution such as litter, fertilizer, and animal waste from entering our waterways, rain gardens can be an attractive way to address these challenges. Join us to learn about the benefits of rain gardens, how to construct your own rain garden, and native plants that will grow best in your area! Please register.
