This is a four part series that focuses on beginner vocal technique. Amanda Polston will help students “find their voice” through warm-ups, vocal exercises, and group singing. Students will learn basic posture, vocal placement, breathing, phrasing, and diction. Students will also begin the journey of expanding their range and increasing their projection through the use of proper vocal technique. Additional topics that will be covered as needed include terminology, ear training, rhythm, harmony, and other basics of music theory. Registration is required. Ages 6th grade and up.
