JCPL at Main Library

Good coffee and good music are what’s brewing at this coffee house style program. Our guest for September is Scott Whiddon. Scott is a writer, teacher, and musician living in Lexington, KY. In Close Quarters with the Enemy (2017) is his first solo recording. Scott writes and performs with Palisades and has developed film scores for Richard Knox Robinson and Brian Frye/Katrina Dixon.  From 2012-2016, Scott served as music director for the Harry Dean Stanton Fest.  He’s shared stages with artists ranging from Jerry Joseph to Elf Power to Amy Levere. Currently, Scott is developing a series of shows benefiting Habitat for Humanity, involving various combinations of Lexington musicians.
